Three Notorious Armed Robbers Convicted For 13 Crimes, Face 38-Year Jail Term

Three well-known robbers, Musa Taj Abdul, Charles Lundu, and Sean Andile Dhlamini, were found guilty of 13 armed robbery charges, mainly in Borrowdale, Harare.

They have each received an effective 38-year jail term, provided they pay back the money they stole.

The trio, armed with a shotgun, pistols, hammer, and iron bars, robbed individuals of cash, perfumes, cell phones, and various other items.

The looted items in one case included cell phones, perfumes, a PlayStation, a laptop, a gold bracelet, and other valuables.

On the other 12 counts, they robbed individuals of cell phones and laptops along Borrowdale Lane.

The total value of the items stolen was US$3,475. The convicts had been on the police most-wanted list for nearly 20 years.
