Tragic Incident: 13-Year-Old Girl Passes Away During Labour At Apostolic Shrine
In a heartbreaking turn of events, a 13-year-old girl hailing from Domboshava lost her life while undergoing labor at an apostolic shrine. The circumstances surrounding her death have stirred shock and sorrow within the community.

According to reports, the young girl, whose name remains undisclosed, was accompanied by her husband, Raymond Guhwa, aged 41, to seek assistance from a midwife at the apostolic shrine during her labour pains. It is alleged that Guhwa, in an attempt to ensure a safe delivery for his wife, sought the aid of the midwife at the shrine.
Tragically, despite their efforts, the situation took a dire turn as complications arose during the labour process, leaving the young girl in a critical condition. Despite the midwife’s efforts, she was unable to alleviate the complications, resulting in the devastating loss of the 13-year-old mother-to-be.
The incident has prompted an outpouring of grief and raised questions about the circumstances leading to such a tragic outcome. Raymond Guhwa, the husband of the deceased, now finds himself facing serious legal repercussions. He was brought before Harare Magistrate Mr. Stanford Ndirowei, where he stands accused of culpable homicide in connection with the death of his young wife during childbirth.
