A Zimbabwean court has found two government ministers guilty of unauthorized borrowing exceeding ZWG200 million from essential public funds without prior approval from the Treasury.
According to@ZLHRLawyers Public Service Minister July Moyo and Higher and Tertiary Education Minister Frederick Shava were sued by former opposition legislator Marvellous Kumalo. The lawsuit claimed the ministers breached the Public Finance Management (Treasury Instructions) of 2019 and the Constitution.

The ministers were accused of utilizing funds designated for disadvantaged communities without obtaining the necessary authorization from the Treasury.
