University Of Ottawa International English Scholarships for African Students

Aim and Benefits of International English Scholarships Scholarship amounts are diverse, contingent upon the admission average and the faculty offering the program.
Requirements for International English Scholarships Qualification Students hailing from Africa, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, or Vietnam automatically qualify for an Entrance or Excellence renewable, average-based scholarship upon enrollment in an eligible undergraduate program offered in English. Students from China or South Korea will be considered for Excellence scholarships in those same programs. To meet eligibility criteria for these scholarships, international students must:
- Be citizens of any country in Africa or one of the listed countries.
- Be newly admitted in the fall 2024 term in an eligible undergraduate program offered in English within the specified faculties.
- Not enroll in the French immersion stream.
- Possess a valid study permit at the commencement of classes.
- Be enrolled full-time. Note: Canadian citizens with dual citizenship (Canada and another country) are ineligible, as they already qualify for Canadian tuition rates.

How to Apply
- Prospective students must initiate the application process here.
- Upon application, the University will generate a Student Number, allowing access to the school’s portal, UOZone, where students can submit their results and documents for review.
- After a successful review, conditional admission offers will be extended, incorporating scholarship details based on the applicant’s average.
