WATCH : Father Caught Stealing Son’s Valentine’s Present for Girlfriend

Father Nabbed for Stealing Valentine's Present for 25-Year-Old Son Edmore, Intended for His Girlfriend in Zvimba

A shocking incident unfolded today when a father was apprehended for allegedly stealing a Valentine’s Day hamper intended for his 25-year-old son, Edmore Chivhango, who reportedly planned to gift it to his girlfriend.

The incident was captured on video and subsequently published by Zimstar News, shedding light on the unfolding events.

The video footage shows two individuals being questioned by an unknown individual, presumably a police officer or shop security personnel. While one of the men remains unidentified, the other has been identified as Edmore’s father, whose name has not yet been released to the public.

As the interrogation commences, the security personnel can be heard asking the suspects about their motives behind the alleged theft. Directing the question towards Edmore’s father, he asks, “Why did you steal the Valentine’s hamper?”

In response, the suspect, who has been referred to as “Baba Edmore,” admits to stealing the hamper with the intention of presenting it to his son so that Edmore could gift it to his girlfriend.

The motive behind this act remains unclear, as it is unusual for a father to steal a gift for his adult son, especially one meant for his romantic partner.

Local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, aiming to gather more information about the suspects and determine the extent of their involvement. The stolen hamper has since been recovered and returned to its rightful owner, as confirmed by the authorities.

Efforts to reach Edmore or his girlfriend for comment have been unsuccessful thus far, leaving the public to speculate about their involvement or knowledge of the incident. It is unclear whether either party was aware of the stolen gift or the father’s intentions.
