According to reports, a 30-year-old man stoned his wife for refusing to have lulalula with him while she was having her period.
Sandra Mbira, 25, claimed that Chenjerai Madhana, her husband, rejected her explanation of her menstrual cycle and charged her of having an extramarital affair.
He said that the reason she was refusing to have lulalula with him was because she was an unfaithful wife who had found s3xual fulfillment elsewhere.
Madhana is said to have abused his wife the night before he stoned her.
The claimed abuse continued the following day at around 5 o’clock, when he allegedly returned home carrying rocks and stones.
In front of their two kids and neighbors, he attacked her with the stones and bricks.
Mbira said that as a result of the assault, she suffered bruises on her shoulder and head injuries.
The daughter of a neighbor came to her aid.
When she woke up in the hospital, she screamed for help, she recalled.
Mbira stated that despite reporting the incident to the police, Madhana has not yet been taken into custody.
Petronella Gwena, 56, a neighbor who gave the unconscious Mbira first aid, claimed that by the time she arrived on the scene, Madhana had already left.
Mbira had a serious wound on her head, which I found out when I touched her, Gwena recounted. She was bleeding.
She was bleeding heavily, so I phoned my children and other neighbors, and together we put a drape around her head.

The husband is also accused of texting his wife death threats in addition to the assault.
The message, which was purportedly sent by Madhana, states, “I will kill you and I am coming with makorokoza to finish you off, and I will not be captured by the authorities.”
Mbira declared that she had had enough of Madhana and was prepared to end the marriage because she was now surrounded by terror.
Tomorrow morning, she declared, “I’m going to Gokwe to visit my mum.”
The police stated that inquiries were still being conducted.
