Zimbabwean music stars, Winky D and Jah Prayzah, are making waves on the international stage as they secure nominations in the prestigious African Entertainment Awards (AEAUSA). Both artists are among the cream of the crop, competing alongside some of the continent’s finest talents in their respective categories.
Winky D Nominated for Best Reggae/Dancehall Artist
Winky D real name Wallace Chirumiko the iconic Zimbabwean reggae and dancehall sensation, has earned a nomination for the highly coveted “Best Reggae/Dancehall Artist” at the AEAUSA awards.
He is rubbing shoulders with heavyweight artists such as Shatta Wale, Ruger, Patoranking, Stone Bwoy, Spice, Takana Zion, Shenseea, Buju Banton, Popcaan, Isasha, Mr. Killa, Byron Messia, Skillbeng, and Young Bredda.
With a career spanning over two decades, Winky D has consistently produced chart-topping hits and garnered a massive fan base not only in Zimbabwe but across Africa.
Winky D unique blend of reggae and dancehall has solidified his position as one of the genre’s most influential figures.
