The action began on the morning of Wednesday, 31 July, with WWE NXT Episode 784. Oba Femi has reigned supreme as the NXT North American Champion in recent months and expects his time with the belt to continue uninterrupted.
“I have put away all the challengers before me… nobody has been able to match my power, my hunger, my determination,” said Oba Femi. “I don’t know if there is anyone in NXT who can even push me, let alone beat me. Maybe they need to look to the main roster to find someone that is worth my time!”

Saturday, August 3, brought Episode 1302 of WWE SmackDown. Ahead of their showdown for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam, Nia Jax—the Queen of the Ring winner—has sent a dire warning to title holder Bayley.
“Start feeling sorry for Bayley right now, because at SummerSlam I’m going to beat her,” said Jax. “I’m going to take her title, and I’m going to put her down like an old, sick dog. I’m going to put her out of my misery.”
Tuesday, August 6 will feature Episode 1628 of WWE Raw. The rivalry between World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest and King of the Rings Gunther has been running hot in the lead up to their epic clash at SummerSlam.
“I know you’re a good man, but I don’t give a damn… I earned this [title],” said Priest. “And you are the last person around here that’s taking this title from me.”
