Zimbabwean hip-hop artist Tania “Young Gemini” Seremwe is on a roll. Fresh from being appointed brand ambassador for Steers food outlets, she’s also making history with her latest project, La Liga, which brings together female artists in a powerful celebration of unity and talent.
The new face of Steers, Young Gemini took to social media to express her excitement, saying, “Guess who’s joining the #SteersGang? That’s right, it’s me! So excited to be the new brand ambassador for Steers. Get ready for some flame-grilled fun!”
However that is not all her latest project, La Liga, is a transformative. The song “Location” features a star-studded lineup of female artists, including Tamy Moyo, Xiba, Kim Makumbe, Nomsa, and Phreshy. The video, directed by Benny Tike and produced by Ghost Magician, has already started trending on YouTube, with fans praising the energy and unity of the female artists.

Young Gemini’s goal with La Liga was to unite female artists and show that they can come together to create something amazing. “We wanted to show that female artists can mix new voices and established ones and make something special,” she said. “We sent out the song to almost every female RnB artist you can think of, and we’re grateful to the ones who came through.”
The concept of female unity is something that Young Gemini is passionate about, and she’s not just talking the talk. “Xiba, Preshy, Tammy Moyo, Nomsa, and Kim Makumbe are the female artists that actively believe in female unity, and I’m not just talking about it in interviews,” she said. “We have made history in the process, and we are happy everything came together well.”
