Youths In Tourism To Benefit From Conference
The 3rd edition of the Africa Youth In Tourism Conference to be held in Bulawayo from 10-12 October is going to benefit it’s delegates.
The annual conference which is already shaping up will unpack opportunities in the tourism sector for youth development
in fulfilling the Agenda 2063.
They will share lessons and exchange ideas on how youths can invest in the tourism sector in Africa.
More will be touched on the use of tourism as a vehicle for entrepreneurship and employment
creation to help in livelihoods promotion and poverty alleviation in
Africa.
Lastly to foster the industry’s commitment to supporting youths in tourism and availing opportunities for youth’s empowerment in the tourism value chain.
Zimbabwe’s Acting Minister Of Environment, Tourism & Hospitality Industry Honorable Nqobizitha Ndlovu says to date 22 countries have confirmed their participation.
“This year’s Conference will run under the theme “Changing Africa’s Future by accelerating Investment Capacity in Youth for Sustainable Tourism Development.” He said.
