A newly released documentary by investigative journalist Zigo casts serious doubt on the authenticity of miracles performed by Prophet Miracle Paul, a religious leader known for his sensational acts during church services broadcast on Meriba TV.
The documentary features testimonies from individuals who previously appeared in the prophet’s televised sessions.
Several of them claim the miracles were carefully orchestrated and rehearsed before being presented to the public as spontaneous acts of divine intervention.
Prophet Miracle Paul has gained widespread attention for his theatrical approach to ministry, including dramatic claims of spiritual revelations, exorcisms, and identifying alleged witches in his congregation.
His services are characterised by interactive sessions with congregants, which Zigo suggests are staged in advance.

One woman, identified in the documentary as a participant in multiple miracle performances, admitted that she was paid to act out healings and deliverances in churches, including Prophet Paul’s.
While she declined to disclose the amount received, she said the money helped her feed her family. She also shared how a false narrative was created, claiming her late husband practised witchcraft.
Another interviewee expressed regret over his involvement, saying he was recorded without consent and later faced distress and conflict within his family as a result of the broadcast.
The documentary has sparked intense discussion online, with some viewers demanding accountability and further investigation, while others continue to defend the prophet’s reputation.
