Zim Hip Hop Awards Calls For Submissions
The opening of entries, a key step in identifying and celebrating the best talent within the Zimbabwean hip hop community, has been announced by the leading platform for Zimbabwean rap music, the Zim Hip Hop Awards. The applications are being accepted with the intention of showcasing the extraordinary accomplishments and contributions of musicians, DJs, producers, and all other cultural contributors who have had a significant influence on the Zim Hip Hop scene. In addition to giving those who have pushed the limits of originality and innovation well-deserved credit, this effort aims to highlight the wide variety of talent that can be found within Zimbabwean hip hop culture.
Their 2023 theme, “Evolution,” was motivated by the global commemoration of hip hop’s 50th anniversary. The event’s organizers stated that they wanted to demonstrate how hip hop has evolved and grown not only in Zimbabwe but also as a global culture this year. The Zim Hip Hop Awards brand will communicate with fans, industry professionals, and other stakeholders as part of the progression.
An impartial team of judges made up of seasoned industry professionals, well-known performers, and reputable music critics has been chosen by the awards board to ensure a fair and transparent selection procedure.

provided. Submissions are open from 05.10.2023 till 03.11.2023, allowing ample time for
