Zimbabwe Agricultural Show to Feature Advanced Training and Innovation for Farmers

Harare, Zimbabwe | Dr. Andrew Matibiri, CEO of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS), announced that over 300 rural farmers from Zimbabwe’s ten provinces will participate in this year’s event. These farmers, among thousands expected to attend, will gain from various benefits including training, idea exchange, and enhanced agricultural innovation frameworks.

In a recent interview, Dr. Matibiri explained that the show aims to support rural farmers by fostering idea exchange and developing resilience strategies in response to El Niño-induced droughts. The event also focuses on improving competitiveness and meeting other essential needs.

“Despite past challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, we anticipate a growing number of participants,” Dr. Matibiri stated.
