Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has announced that the national team will host South Africa and New Zealand for a series of Test matches, along with an exciting T20 International tri-series.
The highly anticipated tour will commence on June 28, with Zimbabwe facing South Africa in a Test series at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. The cricket action will continue until July 26.
ZC Managing Director Givemore Makoni described the upcoming fixtures as a significant moment for Zimbabwean cricket.
“This will be one of the most remarkable home seasons we’ve had in years, giving our players a chance to compete against two of the strongest cricketing nations,” said Makoni.

The last time Zimbabwe played New Zealand in a Test match was in July 2016, with the Black Caps claiming a 2-0 series win in Bulawayo.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe and South Africa last met in Test cricket during the 2017 Boxing Day pink-ball Test in Gqeberha, where South Africa dominated with an innings and 120-run victory.
