Zimbabwe to wait longer for Mr Bean

The much anticipated Mr Pak Bean gig that has been scheduled for August 24 at the Harare International Conference Centre has been cancelled, organisers have said.
Although it could not be immediately established the reason for cancellation, a statement by the organisers said it “was due to circumstances beyond” their control.
The statement said Mr Pak Bean, a look alike of the famous Rowan Atkinson will still be coming into the country on August 22.
“Please note that, regrettably, we have cancelled that show, however Mr Pak Bean will be at the Splash Paint and Plastic stand inside the Agricultural Show form August 23 to 27 where he will perform and interact with the crowds,” the statement reads.
“Again we regret cancelling the comedy night. It was due to circumstances beyond our control. We wish to thank customers and those who supported the idea of a comedy show.”
Mr Pak Bean was scheduled to perform alongside the Simuka Comedy duo of Doc Vikela and SImba the Comic King.
