Responsibilities:
- Conducting legal research and analysis on a variety of legal and regulatory topics.
- Assisting in the drafting of legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and policies.
- Reviewing and analyzing legislation, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Supporting the legal and compliance team in upholding corporate governance standards.
- Preparing legal opinions and memoranda on relevant legal issues.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports.
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of legal and compliance documents.
- Undertaking any other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A recent graduate with a Bachelor of Law Honors Degree.
- At least one (1) year of experience, preferably in a law firm.
- Knowledge of Zimbabwe laws and regulations.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong moral character and integrity.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Demonstrated drive, ambition, and passion for challenging work.
