A resident of Mbare Block 14,Chipo Neruwana, 22-Year-Old Woman Granted Bail for Unlawful Possession of Medical Drugs.
Chipo Neruwana appeared before Harare magistrate Ruth Moyo on Tuesday, facing charges of unlawful possession of medical drugs. She was granted bail of US$300.
State prosecutor Belinda Chimuka revealed that on October 25 last year, detectives from the CID Drugs and Narcotics Unit received information alleging that Neruwana was in possession of prescription preparatory drugs.

Following this tip-off, an investigation was conducted, leading to the discovery of one container of benzathine benzylpenicillin injection and 19 containers of suxamethonium chloride, each containing 50mg.
The State asserts that Neruwana was not authorized to possess these drugs without a prescription.
