Organizer Patson “Chipaz” Chimboza has assured fans and participants of a fun filled event, emphasizing the significance of the Cup Clash in unearthing and empowering new talent. “As a promoter, my dream is to leave a legacy and ensure that I change lives,” he said.

This year’s edition marks a special milestone for the Chillspot Family, who will be celebrating their 12th anniversary. DJ Fantan has urged fans to show up in numbers, expressing satisfaction with the response to registration so far. “We are open to all creatives who are willing to showcase their talent,” he said.
The event boasts an impressive lineup of performing artists, including Seh Calaz, Killer T, Master H, Hwinza, and many more. These talented artists are set to take the stage by storm, delivering unforgettable performances that will leave the crowd begging for more.

DJ Fantan also reflected on the legacy of Soul Jah Love, who passed away last year. “Last year, we honored Soul Jah Love by playing his music for 5 minutes, but this year, we have not sat down yet with all the promoters to see how we are going to honor him. However, we are promising to honor him in a way more than last year,” Fantan said, hinting at a special tribute to the late music hero.
With 100 sound systems set to parade and a plethora of talent on display, the Harare Cup Clash is poised to be an unforgettable experience. The event organizers prepare to unleash new talent and celebrate 12 years of Chillspot Family, fans are eagerly awaiting the ultimate Zimdancehall fiesta.
“This year is going to be exciting! We have four categories, the Clash of DJs, a competition for artists with disabilities, Dancehall Queens, and Dancehall kings . This year is going to be something special! In addition to the main performers, there will be surprise artists as well,” said DJ Fydale.
