A recent Israeli airstrike in northern Gaza has claimed at least 22 lives, including women and children, according to Gaza’s civil defense agency.
The strike targeted a house belonging to the Abu al-Tarabish family near Kamal Adwan Hospital, destroying the three-story building with three missiles fired from an Israeli jet. Over 50 people had been residing in the house, many of whom are still trapped under the rubble.
Rescue operations were delayed until the following morning. Additionally, another strike on the Al-Bayoumi family’s home in the Nuseirat refugee camp resulted in seven fatalities. This follows ongoing Israeli military operations aimed at preventing Hamas regrouping in the region.
