Job Opportunity: Booth Teller at Mukuru in Zimbabwe

Mukuru is excited to offer new opportunities for Booth Tellers in Zimbabwe. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide efficient and professional remittance disbursement services.

Job Reporting Structure: The Booth Teller will report directly to the Booth Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process remittance transactions.
  • Ensure that all documentation provided by customers is valid and legally compliant.
  • Identify and report any potential fraudulent documents.
  • Manage personal stock and ensure accurate balancing of transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Maintain knowledge of foreign exchange rates and regulations.
  • Uphold the company’s brand and reputation.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development.

  • Proficiency in computer use.
  • Strong telephone communication skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Organizational and administrative skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).
  • Completion of Mukuru Forex Consultant training course (Essential).
  • Must pass required tests and assignments to maintain current competency (Essential).
  • Proficiency in relevant local languages (Essential).
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience (Essential).
  • Experience in cash handling (Desirable).
  • Knowledge of foreign currencies and FICA regulations (Desirable).
  • Understanding of exchange control regulations (Desirable).
