Katsande was 'traumatised' after being part in a gruesome hijacking event

Willard Katsande, a seasoned midfielder, was involved in a gruesome hijacking event in Johannesburg on Tuesday, according to reports.

Katsande was assaulted during a road rage incident on the West Rand a year ago on the day he made his Sekhukhune United debut after leauge.

The most recent instance occurred on Tuesday at Southgate Mall.

A tracking company later found Katsande’s vehicle in Eldorado Park, but it was badly damaged.

Katsande has filed a report with the police.

Katsande confirmed the occurrence to this website, saying he lost both business and personal goods worth thousands of rands, including a cellphone and cash in the car at the time of the incident.

Katsande tells KickOff, “I’m traumatized right now because of my past road rage episode.”

“The three men who kidnapped me in the Southgate Mall parking lot hauled me to the ground, leaving me with injuries.

“The automobile has been found at Eldorado Park, but it is substantially damaged inside and has been plundered of my valuables.

“Given that there was company property inside the car, this is a major inconvenience that will now have an impact on the firm,” says the driver.

Katsande made 18 appearances for Sekhukhune this season, and he is expected to play again next season.
