Uppsala University in Sweden is offering several scholarships for fee-paying students applying for Master’s programmes set to begin in autumn 2025.
Among these opportunities is the Uppsala University Global Scholarship, previously known as the Uppsala IPK Scholarship.
Additionally, students from Africa may explore the Anders Wall Scholarships.

Eligibility:
- Open to individuals who are citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
- Applicants must demonstrate strong academic potential and a keen interest in being part of an educational environment.
- Scholarships are only available for Master’s programmes at Uppsala ranked as the applicant’s first priority during the admissions process.
- Candidates must apply to a Master’s programme before the University Admissions deadline and meet all entry requirements. Supporting documents and the application fee must also be submitted on time.

Scholarship Benefits:
The scholarship covers tuition fees but does not include living expenses.
Application Process:
To apply for the Uppsala Global Scholarship, candidates must first submit an application for a Master’s programme at Uppsala via the official admissions portal, universityadmissions.se. Applications for Master’s programmes must be completed by 15 January 2025, with Uppsala University ranked as the top choice.
Afterward, applicants can complete the online scholarship application form, available from 16 January to 3 February 2025.
