Young Stars Shine Bright At 2025 Zimbabwe Kids & Teens Models Awards

Zimbabwe Kids & Teens Models Awards

The 2025 Zimbabwe Kids & Teens Models Awards ceremony was a great success over the weekend, celebrating confidence, creativity, leadership, and excellence among Zimbabwe’s children and teens. The event brought together proud families, educators, community leaders, and industry stakeholders who are all dedicated to developing the next generation of role models in the fashion and creative industries.

This year’s awards ceremony was elevated by the presence of Yollanda Chimbarami, an acclaimed Zimbabwean model and titleholder who became first runner-up and Miss International Africa in the Miss International pageant, as the Guest of Honor. Her motivational speech emphasized the value of discipline, mentorship, and self-belief, which resonated strongly with both young participants and their parents. Chimbarami’s presence elevated the event and supported the notion that worldwide success is possible with devotion and strong ideals.

While the awards usually honor great young models and creatives, the 2025 edition also recognized the critical role parents play in developing creativity. Ms Deleen Masawi Kaseke received a special award for her outstanding support, dedication, and assistance to the development of emerging talent. Organizers emphasized that every confident child has a support system that believes, sacrifices, and fosters growth.

The unveiling of the sought-after Overall Model of the Year was the evening’s high point. Ngoni Sanchez Mpofu won the prestigious title after demonstrating confidence, consistency, and excellence throughout the competition. Yamikani Marasha and Tammar Muchineuta were chosen runners-up following outstanding achievements in various categories.

The celebration also honored baby and toddler models Ethan and Tiyamike Marasha, who earned awards alongside their older siblings Tehillah and Yamikani, demonstrating that creativity and confidence can be fostered from a young age.

The organizers stated, “Beyond the trophies and certificates, the 2025 Zimbabwe Kids & Teens Models Awards reaffirm our mission to provide a safe and empowering platform that builds confidence, nurtures character, and opens opportunities for children and teens across Zimbabwe.”

“We have always prioritized holistic development, making sure that young people develop into disciplined, self-assured, and responsible adults in addition to role models. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all nominees, parents, guardians, schools, partners, and supporters whose ongoing trust and collaboration make this platform possible. Together, we are creating a generation of self-assured, motivated young role models who are ready to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.”
