Kungopfeka White Zim Plays Like Real Madrid

Zimbabwe’s Warriors overpowered the Brave Warriors of Namibia 3-1 in the second leg of the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers held in South Africa yesterday.

Dressed in all white, resembling Real Madrid’s famous kit, Zimbabwe played with the same precision and dominance the Spanish giants are known for in every department, from defense to attack.

Washington Arubi was outstanding between the posts, evoking memories of Thibaut Courtois with his composure and key saves. He managed to keep the Namibian attackers at bay throughout the match. If not for Gerald Takwara’s unfortunate error, Arubi would have kept his fourth consecutive clean sheet.

Godknows Murwira impressed at right-back, mirroring Dani Carvajal’s dual role of attacking down the flank while maintaining solid defensive duties.

Jordan Zemura, much like Eduardo Camavinga, stole the show with his dribbling prowess and ability to track back, breaking up Namibia’s counterattacks effectively.

Gerald Takwara and Brendan Galloway formed a formidable partnership at the back, successfully neutralizing Namibia’s offensive threats.
