Farmer tries to take his own life since his wife cheated on him with a security officer
A TOBACCO farmer tried to commit suicide on Monday after learning that his wife and a married security guard in Chatsworth had been exchanging love letters.
After ingesting the poison, Cosmas Makawanda was taken to a hospital after learning about his wife Mouline Mutunga’s extramarital relationship with security guard Vincent Tipedze.
In the presence of her parents and an unidentified guy who was related to Vincent, Mouline, a mother of two, packed her stuff, leaving Cosmas with just one blanket.
Cosmas hurried from the clinic to his house after learning Mouline had decided to end their nine-year marriage to try to stop her.
But Vincent’s relative attacked him.
The case was taken to Chatsworth Police Station.
After learning that Mouline had been dating a married man from their neighborhood, Cosmas declared he had nothing to live for.
After learning that my wife had been cheating for some time, Cosmas remarked, “I wanted to take my life since I didn’t see any point in continuing to live.”
“The poison damaged my tongue and impaired my vision. Their love notes revealed that they had been having unprotected sex for a while and that Vincent had plans to take my wife away.
“Vincent received $350 from Mouline, and they planned to use my hard-earned cash to stay together.
“They have ruined my life and that of our two children.
“When I arrived, I forbade my wife’s team from removing the solar panels, and one of the guys attacked me. I had learned that my wife was removing everything from the house.
The revelation that he is connected to Vincent particularly hurt Cosmas, who then asserted that Mouline’s parents were aware of her extramarital affair.
Mouline denied having a love relationship with Vincent, claiming that it was platonic.
According to Mouline, “My spouse has been feeling envious of me and would assume every male he finds me chatting to.”
“I made the decision to leave him because I couldn’t continue living in a situation where you are always being interrogated about your whereabouts.
He saw Vincent and I in a store that he was manning, and since it was late at night, he immediately assumed that we were having sex.
“I was delayed in traveling back home when he found us apa hamenowo zvima messages zvavarikuti vanazvo saka handingagarire izvozvo.
He was unfortunate to have been attacked neumwe muzaya wandanga ndinaye achindibatsira kutakura zvinhu zvangu, but I prevented him from ending his life.
“Whether we take every blanket and leave him with only one depends on how many he purchased for us from selling tobacco.
I wanted to grab everything because I worked so hard to get everything at the house, Mouline claimed.
Vincent was unavailable for comment.
But he made it clear in the love letters he wrote to Mouline that he wanted her to leave her husband and live with him.
According to the talks, Mouline had decided to leave her spouse and two children.
