Harare| The Hills Luxury Golf Estate, an ultra-luxury development by WestProp Holdings Private Limited, is set to transform Zimbabwe and Harare.
As one of the Second Republic’s approved Urban Renewal Projects, the project is a legacy that offers numerous firsts to Sub-Saharan Africa.
Mr Ken Sharpe, CEO of WestProp, declared during the launch that “this project is a game-changer for Zimbabwe.” By the time the project is finished, we want to have significantly increased the valuation from the over $300 million that we are now developing.
World-class athletic facilities, a retail centre, a retirement community, a five-star hotel, and branded apartments are all part of the mixed-use Hills Luxury Golf Estate. The development is distinct and sustainable because it includes 82% green and open space.
Mr. Sharpe underlined that WestProp’s significant investment in the project is a statement of confidence in the Zimbabwean brand.

“We think that the people of Zimbabwe are its greatest asset, and by constructing homes and other social amenities, we are keeping people in the country and encouraging those who are living abroad to return.”
Martin Chikwanha, President of the Zimbabwe Golf Association, stated in an interview with Zimetro that the city and the nation as a whole embrace this much anticipated project.
We haven’t had a groundbreaking like this in a long time, so it is quite exciting to see something new in the nation, Chikwanha remarked.
It is a blessing for us to be connected to such a development in our community and nation. With a USGA-certified golf course and special membership opportunities, the project is anticipated to draw golfers and tourists from the surrounding area. We will be able to have a top-tier golf competition in the nation if the images we are seeing here turn out to be accurate,” he stated.
