2. Voltz JT (Nkosilathi Sibiya)
Voltz JT, born on March 19, 1999, is a trailblazer in the drill music scene, blending Western trap with Zimbabwe’s Shona language to create “jecha trap.” Raised in Chitungwiza, he began his musical journey with the track “Boys Rangu” in 2016 and has since released notable EPs like “Power Moves” and “Mayhem and Modies.” His song “These Days” gained viral attention for its social commentary, while his collaboration with Holy Ten on “How Far” exemplifies his impactful presence in Zimbabwean hip-hop. In 2024 he was nominated as the best hip-hop artist, best song of the year and also best album of the year.

At just 21, Young Gemini represents the new wave of Zimbabwean artists. Starting her career in 2019, she has performed at major festivals like the Changamire Hip-Hop Festival and has collaborated with various artists. Her debut album “RAPTURE” and mixtape “Love Is Violent Everyday” highlight her versatility and commitment to her craft, making her a voice to watch in the industry. In 2024 she was nominated as the best female hiphop artist
