DIGITAL MARKETING OFFICER
The Digital Marketing officer-is responsible for daily management and activation of the digital marketing strategy through selected platforms. Assisting the Information & Communications Manager in implementing the Catholic University of Zimbabwe’s overall information and communications plan-focusing specifically on digital communications-to build awareness about the Catholic University of Zimbabwe, with the key objective of increasing enrolment and driving engagement levels for the target market and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor of Business Management and Information Technology or a similar degree qualification is a requirement.
- Experience in digital marketing, graphic design Create, Manage and oversee the CUZ for brand awareness and impressions, plus excellent experience in management of website, knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, Instagram, and related platforms.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Social Media Consultant or a similar role will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics and understanding of social media Key Performance indicators.
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop and or other content creation tools, Graphic design skills and knowledge of web design.
- A clean personal social media record is a requirement. The possession of Digital marketing/Social media management certificates will be an advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Principal Duties and Responsibilities Develop, implement and manage the CUZ digital marketing strategy.
- Create, Manage and oversee the CUZ digital content, ensuring that it is up to date, Informative and appealing and respond.
- Develop and run social media campaigns regularly and measure the success of every social media campaign.
- Learn and stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies and respond to all enquiries made on social media platforms.
- Monitor Search Engine Optimization, user engagement and regularly work on optimization.
