Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden will be offering approximately 35 IPOET scholarships for fee-paying students, funded by the Swedish Council for Higher Education.

Level/Field(s) of Study: These scholarships are available for all current Master’s programs at Chalmers University of Technology.
Number of Scholarships: 35 scholarships will be awarded.
Target Group: The scholarships are open to students from non-EU/EEA countries who are required to pay tuition fees.
Scholarship Benefits:
- A 75% reduction in tuition fees for the first year of the 2-year (4 semesters) program.
- Students who perform exceptionally well in the first year may receive an increased scholarship that covers 85% of tuition fees for the second and final year.
- The scholarship does not provide funds directly to the recipients.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be citizens of non-EU/EEA countries who are subject to paying tuition fees for education in Sweden.
- The scholarships are available to first-year Master’s degree applicants.
- Selection is based on academic excellence, with a focus on the applicant’s average grade, the reputation of the home university (including its global ranking), and the priority order of the application for Chalmers Master’s programs.
Application Process: Applications for the scholarships will be accepted starting in late November. To apply, applicants must first submit an online application for a Master’s program at Chalmers University through the University Admissions website (universityadmissions.se) between October 15, 2024, and January 15, 2025.
Once the application for a Master’s program is submitted, applicants will receive a unique application number, which is required to complete the scholarship application.
The deadline for submitting scholarship applications to Chalmers University is January 17, 2025.
