Dynamos, the prominent Harare football club, had their preparations for the Chibuku Super Cup semi-final against Manica Diamonds on Sunday thrown into disarray when players refused to train this morning, citing unpaid winning bonuses and signing-on fees.
As defending champions, they will compete against the Gem Boys at Rufaro Stadium, while last season’s runners-up, Ngezi Platinum Stars, will host Simba Bhora at the Baobab.
Although the Dynamos squad arrived at Alex Sports Club for training, they opted not to take part in the session.

A player, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, informed Soccer24 that the Glamour Boys have not received any winning bonuses since the start of the second half of the season.
“We haven’t received any winning bonuses since the second half began, and some of us are still owed signing-on fees, which is why we decided to skip training today,” the player stated.
