Dynamos Stars Refuse to Meet Chairman Over Unpaid Bonuses

Dynamos players

Dynamos players are expressing concerns about their upcoming Chibuku Super Cup semi-final against Manica Diamonds, scheduled for Sunday at Rufaro Stadium. They view this match as a critical opportunity to urge their management to settle outstanding payments.

With their chances in the league championship dwindling, the players believe this is their best chance to negotiate for their dues. Their frustration escalated recently when they refused to meet with chairman Moses Maunganidze during training sessions.

There are growing worries that Dynamos might not be able to participate in the semi-final due to these protests, which began on Wednesday over unpaid bonuses and sign-on fees. For the second consecutive day, the team opted not to train.

In response, Maunganidze stated that they plan to clear the outstanding bonuses soon, hoping to resume training. He expressed disappointment at the players’ decision to halt training, especially since they had previously agreed to a payment plan for the second half of the season.

“We’ve secured the funds and are currently processing the payments,” he explained. “Our aim is to resolve this issue as quickly as possible so that the players can prepare adequately for the match.”

Dynamos has already lost valuable preparation time ahead of their clash with Manica Diamonds, and the situation remains tense as both sides seek a resolution. Dynamos players
