KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden offers a range of scholarships based on academic performance for non-EU/EEA/EFTA students applying to their Master’s programmes. These scholarships aim to support outstanding international students who are required to pay tuition fees.

Eligible Fields of Study:
The scholarship is available for all Master’s degree programmes at KTH, except for those within joint Erasmus+, EIT Digital, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Urban Mobility, Nordic Five Tech programmes, and the “Computer Simulations for Science and Engineering” joint programme.
Number of Scholarships:
In 2023, approximately 8% of applicants were nominated for the KTH Scholarship, with 55 students selected from 677 scholarship applications.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be from non-EU/EEA/EFTA countries and be required to pay tuition fees. You must apply to KTH as your first-choice university and meet the admission requirements for the programme. Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence.
Scholarship Benefits:
The KTH Scholarship covers tuition fees for the first and second years, provided the student maintains satisfactory academic progress during the first year. However, living expenses are not covered by the scholarship.

- Application Period: December 1, 2024 – January 15, 2025 (midnight CET)
- To apply, students must first submit an application for admission to a Master’s programme through www.universityadmissions.se.
