Maverick City Music to Perform in Zimbabwe

American gospel sensation, Maverick City Music, is bringing its Kingdom Tour to Zimbabwe this August, marking a highly anticipated event for gospel music enthusiasts in the country.

The tour, which commenced in the United States and features gospel powerhouse Kirk Franklin, will showcase Maverick City Music’s renowned performances at the prestigious Glamis Arena in Harare on August 12th, 2024.

Maverick City Music has garnered international acclaim, being a five-time Grammy award-winning group known for soul-stirring gospel pieces such as ‘Jireh’ and ‘Promises.’ Their music resonates deeply with audiences, delivering uplifting melodies and powerful messages of faith and hope.

Sharing the stage with Maverick City Music is Kirk Franklin, a celebrated gospel singer with an impressive collection of nearly 20 Grammy awards. Franklin’s chart-topping hits like ‘My Life Is In Your Hands’ and ‘I Smile’ have solidified his status as a legend in the gospel music realm.

Starting its journey in South Africa on August 8th, the tour will then visit Lusaka in Zambia, Malawi, and culminate in Zimbabwe. Subsequently, the tour continues its uplifting journey to Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, before concluding in the United Kingdom, promising a soul-stirring experience for audiences worldwide.
