Today, Advocate Chamisa,former leader of the Citizens Coalition For Change (CCC),paid a visit to the Namibian Embassy in Harare to extend his condolences following the passing of Namibia’s late President, Hage Geingob.

President Geingob’s demise on the 4th of February came after a brief battle with cancer, sending shockwaves across the region. His leadership and contributions to African politics were widely acknowledged and respected.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa had previously expressed his sympathies by signing the condolences book at the embassy. In his message, Mnangagwa described President Geingob as a “GIANT” in African politics and leadership, highlighting the profound impact he had on the continent.

Advocate Chamisa’s visit to the Namibian Embassy underscores the solidarity and camaraderie shared between Zimbabwe and Namibia during this period of mourning. In other story,The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal filed by former CCC MPs challenging their recall from parliament, citing a technicality. The court deemed the appeal abandoned after the MPs did not provide the required US$5,000 as security for costs. Their legal representative, Amanda Sihle Ndlovu, has announced plans to refile the appeal.
