Former ZB bank Chief Executive Office Ronald Mutangadayi (59) drags his wife court yesterday claiming he was heavily assaulted by Loveness her wife.
Mutangadayi told the court that he had since left his home to stay with his mother fearing for his life.
Loveness appeared before Harare magistrate , Evelyn Mashayakure who remanded her to May 17 on free bail.
The court heard that in January Loveness took some of their properties and drove away and she further physically assaulted the banker last month following a dispute over a missing steering wheel for their Toyota Vits.
Loveness went further to assault his husband with a wooden stick before she poured juice on him.
The accused was not asked to plead guilty in court .
Broke Husband stabs wife after failing to give relish money
A broke husband stabs wife after a misunderstanding over the request of relish money resulting her to suffer injuries on her right shoulder.
Circumstances are that on 17 April, at around 7.25pm, Veronica Phiri (34), who is married to Mehluli Dube (47), arrived home from the city centre and found her husband in the sitting room.
She asked him for money to buy relish and he replied that she should get it from her boyfriend since she was out with him.
Veronica got angry and slapped Mehluli twice on the left cheek. Mehluli responded by picking a kitchen knife and stabbing Veronica on the right shoulder.He then locked himself in their bedroom.
Veronica called the police who attended the scene and arrested Mehluli.
They recovered the kitchen knife.
Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube confirmed the incident and urged couples to find better ways of solving their issues.
