The pictures of controversial Prophet Passion Java with South African gay celebrity Somizi have left tongues wagging.
The cleric has been suspected of exhibiting some ‘gayish’ traits and now that pictures of him enjoying the company of Somizi are circulating,many are now convinced that he could be a bisexual.
Zimbabwe is still largely conservative on LGBTQI rights and for Java, a Zanu PF apologist to be seen associating with a known gay can trigger debate.
Last year, Zanu PF led a campaign which barred Somizi from being a guest at the reopening of a top restaurant in Harare.
