Following a police report and subsequent investigations aided by public assistance, it was revealed that Sithole’s mobile phone had been sold to Felix Nyakadumba of Mpopoma. Nyakadumba’s interrogation led to the arrest of Simbarashe Maphosa, who confessed to the crime along with accomplices Bhekisisa Moyo and Mdudusi Dlamini.
