The Zim Achiever’s Awards which are usually held in different parts of the diaspora are for the first time being hosted on 10 April 2020 at Elephant Hills Resort in Victoria Falls.
The event will double up as a holiday for all who are attending the awards gala dinner. The famous nomad band Mokoomba who originated from Victoria Falls, will be honored together with young Tanya Muzinda, Gogo Esther Munyoro and a lot more of outstanding individuals in community work, arts, sports, business to name a few.
At a press briefing held at Monomatapa Hotel in Harare, ZAA founder Conrad Mwanza, announced that on this grand 10th awards edition there will not be public voting voting, instead they have a team which is scouting for all famous or ordinary Zimbabweans worldwide who are making a difference in society and on the world map.
Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, Zim Thrive, FastJet, African Medallion Group (AMG), African Sun, ZimCon, Mhukahuru Tours are the main partners of this grand event which is a reunion of the children of the soil .
Godfrey Koti from ZTA, strongly assured that there will be no worries of the deadly Corona Virus as the World Health Organisation and the Government are strongly monitoring and taking precautions especially on all ports of entry.
