Physician In Matabeleland Accused Of R**ping Patient (13)
A 58-year-old private physician stationed at Binga Center in Matabeleland North Province stands accused of se*ually assaulting a 13-year-old patient while her aunt waited just outside the door.
According to reports from B-Metro, Jabulani Dube, who operates a clinic at Binga Medical Center, appeared in court last Wednesday, charged with rap**ng a girl who had visited his clinic for a follow-up appointment, accompanied by her aunt.

Prosecutors assert that on February 7, 2024, around 9 AM, the girl went for her appointment but Dube postponed it to 8:30 PM. While she awaited her check-up, the doctor allegedly unzipped his trousers and molested her.
When the girl reacted to the assault with a scream, her aunt investigated, only to find the doctor attempting to restrain the minor as she fled.
Subsequently, the aunt searched for the girl, eventually finding her at home, where she recounted the incident that led to Dube’s apprehension.
Dube is scheduled to reappear in the Hwange Magistrate Court on February 22 and is currently held in custody.
