The well-known gospel singer Rebecca Malope recently fell off the stage during her close friend Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule’s funeral, which alarmed a lot of her followers.
The performer fell on stage on Saturday while belting out one of her best-known songs, “Ngiyekeleni.”
Malope said in her TshisaLive explanation that she felt unsteady simply standing up because of the high heels she had decided to wear. She did, however, emphasize that wearing sneakers to the burial was not an option out of respect for her deceased buddy.
“I was unable to attend the funeral in my sneakers. I had to be respectful during Zanele’s memorial service. I tripped on stage because I was wearing high heels,” the performer stated.
Malope added that since the incident, she has received a ton of texts from friends and relatives expressing their concern. She added that her tumble is a blatant sign that she is getting older and losing her youthful vitality.

“Since Saturday, friends and family have been texting me to see how I’m doing. Malope remarked, “I guess I’m becoming older and less vigorous.
The artist also expressed her gratitude for her friend’s dignified burial and the successful exhibition of her artwork, despite her own repeated falls.
The “Hamba Juba” hitmaker said that she twisted her ankle and injured her knee. She added that she will be recovering from her wounds at home.
“I’m going to be resting and utilizing ointments to heal my knee at home. She remarked, “I thank God I only had minor injuries.”
