Waverley Blankets Extends a Warm Helping Hand: Donates 40 Blankets to Harare Children’s Home After Devastating Fire

In the aftermath of a catastrophic fire that ravaged two blocks at the Harare Children’s Home, leaving the facility in urgent need, Waverley Blankets has stepped in to offer assistance.

The devastating fire resulted in the loss of essential items critical to the children’s daily lives, thrusting the home into a state of desperation.

Although the incident thankfully did not result in any fatalities, the impact on the children has been profound.

Stripped of their basic necessities – furniture, blankets, sheets, clothes, school shoes, uniforms, and toys – they faced an uncertain and challenging situation.

Responding swiftly to this dire circumstance, Waverley Blankets has donated a generous contribution of 40 blankets to provide solace to the affected children during this time of recovery.

The company’s Managing Director, Mr. Aron Vico, expressed their heartfelt concern for the children’s wellbeing.
