Young Star Shines Bright: El Shaddai Sadomba Clinches Golden Boot at CAF African Schools Football Championship, COSAFA Qualifier

In a thrilling display of skill, 14-year-old El Shaddai Sadomba, son of Warriors and Dynamos legend Edward Sadomba, secured the Golden Boot Award at the recently concluded COSAFA Qualifier tournament. His six-goal tally, matching South African Ferguson Rhys, marked him as the joint top-scorer.

Notably, Sadomba’s last-minute winning goal propelled Zimbabwe U15 Boys to a third-place finish, triumphing over Namibia, and earned him the well-deserved Man of the Match accolade. His prowess extended to the group stages, where he netted five goals in four games.

Beyond his individual achievements, El Shaddai hails from a football legacy, with his father Edward Sadomba being a renowned figure. The 14-year-old sensation attends St John’s High School in Harare and is affiliated with the Golden Eagles Academy, showcasing promise as a talented young striker. Adding to the family connection, his brother Adonai also represented Zimbabwe U15 in the CAF tournament.
