Andy Muridzo’s baptism of fire

It never rains but pours for crooner Andy Muridzo after allegations that he impregnated raunchy dancer Beverly Sibanda.
Bev who has a knack of dragging anyone and anything into a scandal made allegations in an article published by Harare tabloid H-Metro Tuesday.
In the article, Bev threatens to expose Andy and claims he would visit her in the company of his wife and she would sometimes sponsor his wardrobe as well as domestic provisions.
“She (Andy’s wife) would be outside waiting for him. I used to give Andy Muridzo clothes as well as money to buy food for his family. So he needs to be careful in whatever he says. He actually needs to be truthful. He knows the truth,” she was quoted as having said in the H-Metro.
Andy then responded in a stupendous Facebook live post where he acceded that he was in some kind of affair with Bev but says he was ill advised and fell prey to fame.
Interestingly; he denies the issue of the pregnancy.
He said in the video that has since been pulled off, he got into an affair with Bev in 2016 when his fame was just rising and his wife found out.
“Mai Keketso vakaiziva ndikavatsanangurira semukadzi wangu wandinodisisa zvikapera. But ndirikushamisika nhasi kuti munhu avakuti anenhumbu yaAndy. Yava yemweya mutsvene here? Handichaziva kana Mweya Mutsvene dakupa nhumbu… (Mai Keketso (his wife) found out and I explained to her since I love her so much, we spoke about it and ironed it out. But I am now shocked that she says she is pregnant by me. Is it the Holy Spirit’s? I am not sure if the Holy Spirit is now impregnating people…),” he said in the post.

He even goes on to apologise to his fans in the remorseful post and says there were forces against Military Touch Movement (Jah Prayzah’s record label).
Yet just after the post, Bev took another dig at the singer and posted a short video warning him that she would pull a Stunner on her if he is not truthful.
“Iwe Andrew, iwe Andy Muridzo ukataurisa ndichakuita hwaStunner wazvinzwa. Dai watonyarara zvako,” she said in a nine seconds video, the first of the two that have gone viral on social media.
It is given the relentless dancer is addicted to media and thrives therein.
It is also factual that Andy Muridzo had an affair with Bev but it remains to be seen whether the pregnancy is true and is his.
Time deals with that.
It could be a thorough baptism of fire that Andy is receiving after he had somewhat maintained a clean slate since his ascendance to stardom but Bev is seemingly having fun as she went on to post an audio clip reminding Andy that the baby needed bananas.
