A woman from Chitungwiza Beauty Mabobo (30) is currently evading capture after allegedly stabbing her husband for returning home late on Friday.
According to reports, Beauty Mabobo, 30, attacked her husband Passmore Matsiga, 29, for being late. Following his treatment for his wounds at Chitungwiza Hospital, Passmore was released. Beauty, meantime, ran away to the village to live with her parents.
Passmore acknowledged that he had erred by staying out late, but he has since forgiven his wife. “I’m getting better, and I’m going to the hospital again soon to get seven stitches out,” he stated. I think a demonic force was trying to ruin my twelve-year marriage and my three-child household.
He said that in order to give the impression that he had been at a nightclub, he had stayed at a girlfriend’s house and consumed more alcohol than normal. However, Beauty became suspicious of his messy appearance. When she questioned him about whether the nightclub had blankets, he sidestepped her question, which infuriated her.

Following a furious dispute, Passmore departed from the house, but Beauty trailed behind him, carrying his Okapi knife a tool he used to cut threads at swimming pools. During the altercation, Beauty was able to subdue Passmore and stab him in the stomach.
Passmore intends to reconcile with Beauty and withdraw the charges against her. “I reported the stabbing to the police but now wish to drop the attempted murder charges. I love my wife and am trying to make peace with her and my in-laws.”
Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the case and is seeking information to locate Beauty. “We are investigating an attempted murder case in Chitungwiza involving a domestic dispute,” said Insp Chakanza.
