Thirty people were injured and ten people died in a South African tragedy involving a bus that was traveling from Zimbabwe to Johannesburg.
Wednesday morning, just after midnight, the incident happened. The driver, who was apparently not familiar with the area, reportedly rushed over a roundabout on the N1 highway near Makhado, causing the bus to topple, according to reports.
The ten victims—five men and five women—were all foreign nationals, according to Limpopo Transport and Community Safety MEC Violet Mathye, who verified the disaster.
Twelve of the more than thirty people who were hurt were in critical condition. Mathye said:
The bus reportedly crossed the final roundabout on the route from Makhado to Polokwane at a fast rate of speed, lost control, and overturned, killing and wounding its occupants.

In other news, Desmond “Stunner” Chideme, a musician, has been brought before the court for allegedly beating up his neighbor and the friend of his nine-year-old daughter.
In his court appearance at Mbare Magistrates’ Court, the artist refuted allegations of violence on two occasions.
According to reports, he beat a young girl who was playing with his daughter and Catherine Matiza.
Dumisani Mthombeni, Stunner’s defense attorney, filed charges alleging that the police had treated him unfairly.
The accused person, Your Worship, has filed complaints against the police, claiming that they handled this matter in a prejudiced and selective manner.
“The police were selective in taking the complaints and not capturing his report on time.
“He first reported the matter on August 25, under RRB 6105134 at Glen Norah Police Station.
“On this particular occasion, they just arrested him and rejected his case.
He declared, “Accused is not guilty on both counts and he is leaving.”
