Church Leader Arrested After Failed Attempt to Resurrect Dead Body

In a shocking turn of events, a church leader was apprehended after attempting to bring a deceased individual back to life in a mortuary.

Apostle Ruramai Nhapata, accompanied by Priest Nyamungara from Trinity International Fellowship Ministry, found themselves in a confrontation with the police upon their arrest.

Expressing their discontent with the situation, the two religious figures even threatened to undress in public as a form of protest.

Initially taken to Kuwadzana Police Station, they were subsequently transported to Nyaradzo Funeral Parlour on Willowvale Road, the location where their audacious act took place.

Later, they were transferred to Southerton Police Station, where they were held in custody.

Apostle Nhapata was taken into custody on charges of tampering with a dead body in a mortuary, as she claimed to possess the power to resurrect Gift Takudzwa Shiriyapenga.

It is alleged that she instructed a fellow church member to place a cellphone on the ear of the late Shiriyapenga.

Undeterred, she proceeded to undress and massage the body while fervently proclaiming that the deceased would be brought back to life.

When questioned about her actions, Apostle Nhapata defiantly expressed her willingness to face the consequences, citing her conviction in exercising her faith.

She even asserted that she had previously resurrected 10 individuals who had been declared dead.

“I am prepared not only to be arrested, but even to be imprisoned for doing God’s work,” declared Apostle Nhapata.

It is important to note that the deceased, Gift Takudzwa Shiriyapenga, had no familial connection to Apostle Nhapata nor was he a member of her Trinity International Fellowship Ministry.

Apostle Nhapata is expected to make her court appearance tomorrow, where she will face charges related to her failed attempt to resurrect the deceased.
