Cole Palmer Shares Excitement After Spotting Omnibus Named in His Honor

Cole Palmer, the talented Chelsea FC player, recently grabbed attention for his playful comment on a funny photo making the rounds on social media.

The image depicted a Zimbabwean commuter bus, affectionately called “mshikashika,” humorously featuring his name.

This particular kombi belongs to the Zimbabwe Commuter Omnibus Transport Association (ZICOTO), one of the major kombi groups in Harare. Palmer took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his lighthearted reaction, saying, “How are y’all doing ???????? People ????????.”

His post prompted a wave of amusing and cheerful replies, with users expressing their own humor and pride in Zimbabwe.

One person joked about how the country often receives less desirable things, while another celebrated the charm of a Zimbabwean number plate. Many joined in with jokes about the kombi being their taxi or sent love from Zimbabwe.

In the midst of the fun, one user pointed out the mix-up, reminding Palmer that the kombi was from Zimbabwe, not Nigeria, and playfully suggested he show some national pride by displaying their flag.
