Four men tragically lost their lives, and two others were hospitalized after consuming a mixture made from aloe vera in Mutare. The survivors are currently receiving treatment at Mutambara Mission Hospital.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police reported the incident, stating: “On October 27, around 4 pm, four individuals died and two were admitted to Mutambara Mission Hospital after consuming a concoction made from aloe vera at Gonorenda Homestead in Marange, Mutare.”

Three of the deceased have been identified by their families: Joseph Myambo (45), Brighton Gwenzi Chibhosho (27), and Kudakwashe Marambire (44). The fourth victim has not yet been identified.
