Old wine and new bottles often cause a burst and it will be the same expectation that new kid on the block 2 Kings Entertainment harbors come August 27.
Co-run by De Nosh, 2 Kings Entertainment braves the cutthroat Zimbabwean showbiz scene with a mammoth task, hosting Mafikizolo, KO, Winky D and Jah Prayzah next Saturday at Belgravia Sports Club.
Dee Nosh feels they have learnt a lot of lessons partnering with several organisations all along so much that they can pull through this one without hustles.
“Sat 27 is a day to have fun and experience good music and performances from our artistes and as 2 Kings we are happy to bring you a good show,” said Dee Nosh.
He said they were also going all out to ensure good relations among artistes to forge partnerships and collaborations.
“We are here to bring good relationship with artists and maintain good standards at shows. Artistes should always be prepared to work together like Jah Prayzah has shown. If you come together your fans also come together and we are hoping when we bring in KO, Mafikizolo, Jah Prayzah and Winky D onto one stage they too can come up with the collaborations and partnerships,” he said.
“There is always power in numbers.”
Jah Prayzah is fresh from an overs subscribed Mudhara Vachauya album launch that broke records at the Harare International Conference Centre while his partner on the home front WInky D has never disappointed.
Mafikizolo like Winky D have become a favourite for local show goers with their tried and tested sets and it will be KO who will be thrown at the deep end.
That he is a great artiste is not in doubt but the three others will have a field day anywhere in Zimbabwe and he is new to that.
