Pacific 24Hr Hospital Offers Lifeline to Assault Victim Mavis Mada

Doctor Michael Mandaza of Pacific 24Hr Hospital has pledged to assist Mavis Mada, a young woman from a disadvantaged background who was brutally assaulted by fellow young ladies recently.

The Mabvuku-based private hospital offered free nurse aid training for the victim of the assault and will also monitor her as she recovers from the injuries she sustained. This comprehensive course includes both theoretical and practical training, equipping Mavis with valuable skills to become self-sufficient.

Pacific 24hr The hospital’s gesture goes beyond just training, as they will also provide Mavis with full uniform sets, food, and accommodation throughout her training. This noble act aims to empower Mavis, enabling her to break free from her difficult circumstances.

“Pacific 24 Hour Hospital is extending our gesture to offer Mavis a three-month full training in nurse aid,” said Dr. Mandaza.

“This course has both theory and practical application for three months.

“Pacific 24 Hour Hospital is going to fund the full bill of the training, full uniform sets, and also fund food and accommodation throughout the 90 days of training.

The clinic also appealed to those who are willing to assist Mada to contact her mother, Sebia Muchenjekwa, who works as a housemaid in Harare. The father of the victim is late, and she stays with her grandmother in rural areas.

The five suspects who brutally assaulted a young girl appeared in court facing three charges kidnapping, cyberbullying, and assault.

The suspects have been identified as Vimbai Mike, aged 19, Rudo Manjere, aged 17, Lilly Rose Munyoro, aged 16, Lilian Chido Munyoro, aged 17, and Sandra Vhumbunu. The case has been remanded to July 26.

All adult accused persons will remain in custody, while the juveniles will be released into the custody of their parents.
